Yeah. I can't even remember Vista. My memory sucks! I remember Windows 3.1 for some odd reason. Probably because it was so novel for PCs at the time.

I recall IBM OS2 more than Windows 3.1, I had to use OS2 at work. Vista was ok,.. ish,, but it was short lived.

If it's like the very early versions, it will be half cocked and full of bugs. I don't know how win 10 was as i never got into that until quite late. does that means they will release lots of updates and fixes and when it is working at it's best Win12 will come along :lmao: :lmao:

well i for one think window 11 is rubbish its very slow to boot up on the lastest build, a few things like some of my software wont run or it crashes,

For me, 11 is running like a scalded dog. Very smooth and fast.

Mine is mega quick to boot, everything works the same except my 3rd party app for the taskbar clock. I do have an ssd with 16gb of ram which I upgraded from 8. It was bought just for win 11, set up how I wanted it on win 10 then onto the dev channel. I hope yours speeds up with future releases

my first computer was an Amstrad 6128. wow, it had a 3" disk drive and a cassette to load programs. then along came Windows 3 :lmao:

We had a mix of OS's,, some were OS2 and others were Windows.. 3.11 I think. My first personal PC was a Gateway 2000 and I had Windows 95 on that one.

I remember mine because it had cow spots on the box. At work, The Travelers Ins, we were and IBM shop so we had IBM PC's.

I think mine was a Packard Bell (crap), soon replaced by a Gateway w/95 and a pentium. Those were pretty pricey back then.

OnT: It won't be ready, but it doesn't matter.

I've not timed my boot speed, but it's faster than Windows 10. I've had no issues with software crashing. Sorry to see you're having these issues.

So, will Windows 10 users be able to upgrade on Oct 5th or will we have to wait till later on I'm 2022 to upgrade. I am hoping that. MCT will be available for creating a Windows 11 USB installation drive, since I plan on a fresh install anyways.
