Hi folks
Those using things like EXCEL Ms Query to retrieve data from MariaDB databases need the ODBC connector which is a bit tricky to find on their website. EXCEL and Ms Qery have got this really OK (at last) -- simple, easy, no coding needed too.
Here's the link -- choose ODBC connector and select Windows 64 bit ( for W11)
Using the connector with EXCEL to retrieve data from a remote hosted mariaDB test data base (hosting can be anywhere - another Windows remote server, Linux NAS, cloud etc). The query pulls in the data, formats correctly in excel etc etc -- Simple. !!!!
