OK so KB5014668 won't install. Now what?
I won't try any of the many fix's others have tried.
Do I just forget KB5014668 won't install and wait for some future update that will fix whatever they broke?

Using a 3rd party antimalware program? If so, turn it off/shut it down (not just disable), then try installing the KB.

It's optional so I haven't even tried to install it. I always wait for the full version. Plus, it has a number lower than the latest full update and that seems weird so I just left it alone.

It is only a C update so classed as unstable I believe so forget it and wait until patch Tuesday and let it sort itself out

Just out of curiosity, when you say that the preview update won't install, is there some sort of error message that you are getting?

If you really want it, have you tried to manually download it and install it (outside of Windows update)?

Also, just to confirm, you are on the original Win 11 release and not a Beta / Dev build, correct?

It's a release optional update and has caused havoc for some users. Most have found MWB or other third party AV is the culprit. It put me into an update loop I couldn't get out of. For some, once it attempts to download, one can't even install the update manually until WU is reset and the AV turned off. For some it installed just fine.

This KB5014668 try to install every time I open my PC making it in restart loop for 4 times until I am able to login. Is there a way to prevent specific KB5014668 ? I found a tool called show/hide updates but that one not listed . what I can do to avoid this update ?
