Mainly you're going to run this command, from an elevated command prompt.

mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullOS



Then... assuming that completes.... you restart the computer, enter the BIOS, and make SURE it's set to UEFI, or it won't boot.

Got no idea, The guy that set the PC up originally he took W10 from my old PC. So I guess he staffed up the partitions or something, Who know where he did install W10.

Shame, I thought that the TPM was the main issue.

That command prompt failed all day long.

Well, it might be failing on TPM as well. But I know for a fact, that it also fails if it sees MBR Disks.
I had the exact same problem, and the rest of my comp passed all the other tests.


This was my results when I still had MBR disks...

I fixed the TPM on BIOS. Just one last hurdle with UEFI.

I may have to live with w10 till 2025, by then my PC will be 9 years old and I 74. We may both need new parts eh eh.

IF you can pass the WhyNot11 tool (post #16), all except for the disks, then I would just start over completely fresh.
Just clean install Win 11.
And make sure you have only one drive hooked up when you do.
That way you won't have EFI and recovery partitions all over the place.

Part of the problem is you have 1 System Reserved partition marked Active (Disk 1) and the other has the System files (Disk 0) if you unhooked either one of those drives, windows would not boot.

Ya, it`s a mess :(

One last attempt to change LEGACY to EUFI

Somehow when the PC was purchased, the fellow there installed it on LEGACY by some obscure way as I'm not able to change to EUFI, nor by reinstalling W10, nor via Command Prompt methods suggested so far on many forums, W10 and many other included. W10 wont install with media creation tool due...

OK after looking at my Bios again, these are the way things have to be if you want to go strictly UEFI

1) Drives have to initialized as GPT
2) CSM has to be Enabled
3) Boot Device Control has to be UEFI only, or, it can be left at (UEFI and Legacy OPROM) if your motherboard shows that option.
4) Secure Boot has to be enabled
5) OS Type has to be Windows UEFI mode (not Other OS)

And Partition Wizard Pro showed me the same message you got on my Z170.

I used AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro to convert a Imaged backup 850 Pro with W10 Pro, from Legacy/MBR to UEFI/GPT

But the Z170 is now using the 860 Pro again, with W10 Pro installed, and Legacy/MBR until the day it dies.

There is nothing for me to gain by converting it.
