Solved Open-shell question: Upgrading from Win 10 Home to Win 11 Home


I updated Open-shell to the latest version.
Did the upgrade to W11 and it is working perfectly (open-shell that is, W11 needs a few tweaks). :-)

Which is somewhat old as well (almost a year ago since last update) but it is functioning perfectly in Windows 11 23H2 22631.3737.
What it will do in 24H2 is not to predict, we'll see!

Yes, they do lots of bug fixes even without a major release. Latest is best.

For easy tweaking see Winaero Tweaker. For personalization see the Personalization section of this forum. I have Windows 7 start button and start menu, Windows 8.1 system icons, Windows Vista/7 Gadgets, classic Windows games (Solitaire etc) and more. I even found a utility to make Windows transparent like in Windows 7 Aero, but I didn't like the result so I switched it off.
