I've installed the RAM. They're now purple. :D So far, everything seems to be working well. My systems seems a little faster, but that could be all in my head.

Just curious, what do you use all that RAM for? You must use some serious apps on your system.

In fact, I think I will order that keycap set. They are GMK so a bit expensive @ $100 for a TKL layout.

I think I can use them on my current keyboard for now. It is OEM profile but the keycaps have a cherry profile so their may be some minor problems. Most importantly they are available now, no wait.

Would the replacement set be translucent, or can/would you turn off the lighting?

It would not be translucent. I could turn off the lighting though. I am trying to decide though whether I still want a TKL sized keyboard or a 65% one like in the image you posted,. I don't want to spend $100 on keys and regret it, but the 65% would mean another whole keyboard.

But I don't care for my current keyboard too much, so decisions decisions.
