Ipad Pro as a Christmas gift for my wife. She's been due a technology update for a while.

Ordered from Amazon by Amazon and next day it was $50 less! Couldn't cancel the order as it was in the shipping phase, so tried to get them to refund the difference but they would not - said their policy is no price matching even with themselves. So ordered the cheaper, contacted them again and had them cancel the delivery so it is heading back to them. Kind of stupid policy as it is costing them more in shipping and restocking. Received the cheaper one today. (y)

Also a Subzero 36 in x 12 in x 0.12 in mouse pad.

It's been around 50 years since I last slept on the ground. If I did it now, I would need a tent, sleeping bag and an air mattress. :)

I've never been camping but Erin has. Don't know how I would make out if I went but I'd make do.

The last time I camped in a tent with a sleeping bag, sleeping on the hard ground turned out to be unenjoyable for me. That was 30 years ago, so I imagine it wouldn't appeal to me at this age, either.

Seems I decided to shop on Amazon instead of going to bed. As a result, I bought a new SSD and a SSD enclosure.
m.2 SSD and m.2 enclosure.png
The M.2 SSD was something like 19% off. I won't install it immediately, but I wanted to have it for when I have time over Winter break. I won't have time until then, so that will be my winter project. The SK hynix SSD gets 5 stars on Amazon.

Camped this summer - ouch. So bought us a cot and larger tent from REI this year. My old bones can't take the ground or all the crouching.

I had been tempted to get the Hynix Gold for some time. Pretty good bang for the buck. Good choice.

Well, maybe she could set up the tent and put the sleeping bag inside for the new cat??
Why not.. the cat might like it.. they love to hide in boxes so this might be just as good.

I figured since I was cracking open my case this winter, I'd invest in a liquid cooler as well. I might as well do things right, after all. Seeing as how my system runs warm, I have been needing something like this. It was on sale, so I purchased it.

Nice.. I like that one.
I do to. It's pretty simple. I'm not so much interested in the lights because I don't have see-through sides on my case. I was interested in making sure it brings down my load temps. People seem really happy with its ability to do that.

I'm sure I should be able to install it without problems, but there's always a little nervous part of me that worries I'll break a hose and douse my system in fluid! Let's hope that doesn't happen!!
