No doubt the price hurt with that inflation. I read that the prices and things will continue to go up until past Christmas. Case in point: I looked at a Rosewill computer case (no pun intended) I bought 2 years ago to see if there was access to the bottom of the motherboard. It looked more expensive than I remember. Come to find out, that same case costs something like 52% more than when I bought it!

So, if you're going to get things, shop around for them as soon as you can because prices will like keep increasing.

Got it and did fiirst cleaning with it today. Worked pretty good. Mapped out my house, created some no-go zones for rug tassles, etc. Kinda slick, will need to see how reliable it is over time. Her name is Electra. LOL.

I just reserved a HP laptop from Micro Center for my sister-n-law. HP 15-dw3013dx 15.6" Laptop Computer Refurbished - Silver; Intel Core i3 11th Gen 1115G4 3.0 Processor; 8GB DDR4-2666 - Micro Center. I wanted to wait to take her there Saturday but they only had two left. They will hold it until the end of the day Saturday. I think her old laptop has a short where the power adapter plugs in. Three weeks ago, the plug on the adapter melted on the end that plugs into the laptop. She got a replacement adapter from Walmart and now the laptop won't power on. She said the power light on the laptop doesn't even come on. It's several years old and I can't see her wasting any money on it.

For her use it will be perfect. I was trying to find her an inexpensive laptop that was worth buying. There were a couple of others but I suggested this one because it has a touch screen. She prefers a touch screen over a mouse. She mostly uses her laptop for E-mail, some internet and for playing Microsoft games. If she wants, I will upgrade it from Windows S.

Well, since my really nice SanDisk backup drive got killed by what I believe to be an overpowered USB-C port I'll never use again, I decided to copy @Fabler2 and go with something I could easily swap SSDs from. So, here's what I purchased (with the wife's blessing):
