I am thinking of getting a fast lens (f2.8 at least) for my Fujifilm mirrorless camera. But I will try the cheaper way first using my Nikon lenses first by using this lens adapter.
I am fully aware that aperture change and focusing will be manual. I usually do manual photography anyway.

Wow... I made a good decision about this adapter. I almost bought a $700 f2.8 lens. I only paid $45 for this adapter. 😁

I just ordered a Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel with floor pedals and the Logitech G Driving Force Shifter from Amazon. The G920 is my birthday present and the G Driving Force shifter is my early Christmas present. My wife kept asking me what I want for my birthday. Now I can answer her question. . I tried many times playing American Truck on steam with a mouse and with a joystick. I couldn't do it. I like the game but I didn't like all of the crashes I did while trying to drive. I'm glad I didn't have that many problems driving the trucks at work. ;-) Does anyone know how I can start the game all over again. When I finally gave up I was so lost I doubt I could find my way to where I was heading.

Nothing is better than getting involved in a good book to keep you off a computer. I need to find a good one for myself because I darn sure need to take a hiatus from electronics. :giggle:

I got you covered. I recommend these two books... far, far future...
Read first ...then... This one

These books are great stories, but seriously complex. Really dense reading, no filler.
They were written in reverse order. But the first one was sort of a prequel, so you should read it first.




Another great set of books is the Long Earth series (5 books). Great stories as well, but easier reading.
Story starts in 2037...
Buy these used
I think I've read the whole set about 30 times in the last year or so.

After years of wanting to read George Orwell's 1984, I finally got around to buying it a while back. I read the first two or three chapters an got busy and I still haven't read it. Winter is coming and I be off work until April or May. I'll have plenty of time then. The last book I read was The Mayan Secrets by Clive Cussler. :-)

It's an excellent book, but you may need a whole box of tinfoil hats, afterward. :D

Another book along the same lines, would be... Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

Both are very good. These are both classics I have not read in awhile.

Inspiring me to reread a couple of "dystopian" books I haven't read for a long time. . "The Trial" by Kafka and, though not on my top list, "Gulag Archipelago" by Solzhenitsyn. "Animal Farm", "Stand On Zanzibar", and "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky
