Well, I got all my computer innards transferred to the new case. I even managed the cables. It's nice and clean and pretty.

Unfortunately, when I when to turn it on, nothing happened. So, I spent hours trying to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. It's either a faulty case, a dead motherboard, or a dead PSU. To be safe, I ordered a new motherboard and a new PSU. Here's hoping that it's not a faulty case!

Because I fear I fried my motherboard somehow, I purchased this replacement.

It's been a long time since I had an ASUS motherboard. I hope this is good. It has plenty of USB ports on the back. If it turns out I didn't fry my original motherboard, I'll keep this one and build a backup computer! 😁

Changed my mind about the motherboard. I got this MSI motherboard instead because it has two USB3.2 headers on the board. I have a USB3.2 to USB-C converter. It also has 9 USB ports on the back. I'd planned on the rebuild Friday, but this board won't be here until Saturday. I can last that long. I canceled the ASUS motherboard. The downside to the board is that you can't use SATA ports 4-6 (or maybe 5-6) if you have two M.2 drives, which I have. Overall, I think this will be a better board than the ASUS TUF board that I canceled.
