I also own a Brother laser printer, wireless. Saved so much money over 15 years I could buy a… I could buy something. I have a special store online I get compatible refills and drums from, so cheap and I have never had a problem. I’d like to upgrade it. I’d also like to get a colour one so I don’t have to get my wife to print drafts for clients to inspect. Sure, they can look at a PDF but a printed version of their posters is a better sell.

This is a huge problem. What’s even more concerning is that you can buy a printer for less than the refills, and they come with ink. I gave up doing that though. It worries me what happens to these printers, even when recycled.

I also have a Brother MFC printer, its a B&W one & its still going strong since 2014.
I dig the HUGE ink cartridges for a great price. My last one was $40.00 (from Staples B&M store) since they knocked $10.00 off because it was cheaper online, which I pointed out :)

I have a Brother HL-5250 DN Monochrome Laser printer (had it since around 2008 or 2009), and a Brother MFC-L3770CDW Color Laser AIO (since 2018). Though it (the MFC) has Wi-Fi, I also have a Gigabit switch on my desktop, so I run it wired instead of wireless.

Brothers rock.

This is my second Brother Laser printer. I don't have a need for two laser printers so I gave my first one to my son. Like me , he rarely does any color printing. My main use for the Officejet Pro was for doing scans and the rare occasion I needed a color print out. If I need to print any pictures my wife has a dedicated printer. The paper and ink are in a cartridge so the both run out at the same time. What irritates me is when I only need to print using black and I can't because the color ink has run out. I still have a set of unopened ink cartridges for the Officejet so I'm thinking about waiting until the ink runs out then donating the printer to Goodwill.

Of all of the printers I have owned, I have to say that my BrotherHL-22340 DW Laser printer was the easiest to setup and the most reliable printer I ever owned. I'm sure my son will get years of use from it. My very first printer was for my Atari computer and used mini ink pens. My next printer was a Dot Matrix printer. It was so noisy that my wife would get angry with me when I used it. I'm not sure if I bought it when I had my Tandy computer or my first Windows computer.

Mines the HL-2270DW and it’s a great printer, served me reliably for years. And I got it by mistake for $100

Out of curiosty I went on Amazon and the same printer I just bought at Wally World was only a few dollars cheaper but I would have had to wait for delivery so to me it was worth it. :-)

I love my G502. I have to say, it’s hard to use a mouse without onboard memory these days, although I do love the MX 3S.

But this one is the X Plus 502 Lightspeed? IMPRESSIVE. Looks to be a very similar grip to the MX 3S but with the G502 functionality. Better even.

I’d do it, but our Mortgage just went up $300 a week. Go for it, Edwin

Yeah you will. But I am not sure if the hardware profiles include multi profiles, I think it might mate. Load it, uninstall GHub.
I can never get it to stick so I use this Logi software to help secure hardware profiles. I forget what it’s called. I can look though if you like.

With my brain/memory issues, I find GHUB and Options+ very complicated, sounds funny but unfortunately true.

I think there is like .. 9 buttons that can be readdressed? If you include the tilt wheel. And not including left/right click.
The base plate should be magnetic, very easy to just lift off and load with weights if it’s like the G502 Hero.
My tilt wheel is Vol Up/Vol Down. But you wouldn’t really readdress the Profile switch button if you use multi profiles.

I own a G502 Hero. Best mouse I have ever owned. Except that the lights in it don't always show blue like I have set them to. But hey, that's just flaky software. The mouse itself is wonderful.

G305 lightspeed wireless here, I can't get comfortable with shapes like G502 etc., have. I gives me hand cramps. Like it a lot, though the wheel is a bit nosier than I prefer.

Maybe I should look a t the Pro X. It looks like it has the shape like the 305 I am comfortable with. Anyone have one?

Is that an onboard hardware profile though? I had that happen until I made good and sure it wouldn’t change without changing a profile. I use software called Logitech Onboard Memory Manager

The base is similar to the MX Masters (I think). Not sure about the top width, which on the G502 Hero and the 402, also can give me hand cramps. At an educated guess, @Edwin will tell us soon 😄
