What drives me nuts is, the cables are usually stiff, thicker and heavier than the device itself! You gotta heat up the cables with a frickin torch just so the device will sit straight on the shelf!!! :cool:

Look at it this way. A heavier cable can be longer than a thin cable without sacrificing the faster USB 3.0 speeds.

I'm sorry but you have me totally confused. @Edwin posted a picture of a 7 port USB 3.0 hub. Even the Spec for the Hub doesn't say anything about USB 3.1 or USB 3.2. The cable is a USB 3.0 Micro B male to USB A male.

I just bought three RJ45 splitter/combiners.

They are not going to be used for Ethernet, though. I can't imagine what would happen if I did!
