Hopefully the setup software got a lot better cause first gen was horrid. The other issue is we can't use each other's software - meaning the Bose "SoundTouch" app for my setup won't work on yours, and vice versa. BTW I also have the Bose SoundTouch Android app which can also be used to setup the system.

Anyway, good luck with the hanging, and getting setup (y)

I bought the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 last year and it does have good sound. I'll probably add the Bass later. Like @Dru2 said, the software isn't much. With my old Vizio 5.1 Soundbar I didn't need to use my cell phone. All the settings were accessed with the remote. A little FYI, use the optical cable instead of the HDMI cable. With the HDMI cable the soundbar doesn't have instant on. When the soundbar finally turned on the tv would always switch to the soundbar input and we would be staring at the Bose screen and have to use the TV remote to change the input. The only thing we lost was being able to change the volume with the TV remote. I did setup the Comcast and Roku remote to the soundbar.

She's only using it to stream music from her phone, so she hopefully won't have any issues.

The Bose speakers work great. She shouldn't have any problems once they are setup.

Windows still sucks at dealing with multiple monitors!
I have nothing but constant weirdness going on with mix-n-match monitors/resolutions/connections!

I have a Samsung C27390 and a Samsung C27F390. Both are set to 1920 x 1080. How did you get that settings screen? This is what I get.

I think you'll see a big improvement over the onboard Bluetooth adapter. With my extender I can get to the other side of the road before my headphones start breaking up.
