Microsoft Office 2021, ATT internet, Email address
When I open Outlook 2021 on the PC I do not get any new Emails.
In Outlook, I go to File/Email Accounts, select the only account and click Repair, Click the Advanced Options, Put a check in the box Let Me Repair my account manually, then click the Repair button.
The Incoming Mail Server setting is pop.yahoo.com
The Outgoing Mail Server setting is smtp.mail.yahoo.com
If I go to Control Panel/Mail (Microsoft Outlook) app
The Incoming Mail Server settings are Inbound.att.net
The Outbound Mail Server Settings are Outbound.att.net all other settings are the same. Which are the recommended settings from ATT.
If I go back to Outlook Repair and I try to change the settings to the Mail app settings, it will Repair It will apply and save. When I open Repair again the settings go back to Pop and SMTP previous settings.
The Test message gets sent and received fine after Repairing, applying and saving
If I go to the ATT.net mail browser Email, I will see unsent Spam and maybe one Email that did not get sent, and the Test messages that were sent to Outlook desktop.
It is not a big deal, because this is not my main Email address, but I just wonder why the settings in Outlook will not save
