Outlook for Windows account

So I considered using outlook for windows on a new win 11 install and created an outlook account. I've decide to use a different client.
I should have known, or at least spent three days researching that ofc an outlook account is in effect a Microsoft account that now logs me into my 'local only account' Win 11 install.
If I delete my outlook account entirely, presuming that is possible, should I expect any issues logging into Windows with my original local account? It is an Administrative account.

1. Local accounts are fine. Most on this forum use exactly that which is why so much attention is given to bypassing microsoft account on installation. You can still have a microsoft account and use the local account to sign into Windows.
2. The new outlook app for Window is not that great.
3. I use a standalone version of Office 2021. Many use Thunderbird as their mail client.
4. Pick whatever mail service you want, ie. gmail, outlook, yahoo, etc

Yeah thx, I just changed back to local account login in settings > accounts > your info > account settings and rebooted.
I'm only one week into win 11 after 6 years of win 10 and I'm being reminded how MS like to have things their way without telling you.
I've also been using Office 2010 pro for the same amount of time but fancied a lighter newer email client.
Upon install and first opening, outlook for windows (so handy that they have three different products sharing the same name) I was presented with ads. I don't do ads.
Trying Thunderbird. Seems simple and efficient.

These will be issues or factors.

1) You can delete your Outlook/Microsoft Account.

2) An Outlook/Microsoft Account will freeze and eventually expire/be deleted through disuse. OneDrive is a bit separate and same will apply.

3) Using a Local Account(Admin) on your PC and signing in to MS services separately is easy enough but occasionally you may accidently change to signing in to Windows with an Outlook/Microsoft Account.
It is easy just to change back to a Local Account, best you know how to do that.

4) All popular free Email Accounts have similar conditions no better/worse than an MS Account.

That is the case for most free Email Accounts, MS is no better or worse.
