It's a shame that AZZA doesn't offer my tempered glass, two front bay, two front fans, mid-tower gaming case anymore. Airflow is good. A fellow can pop in whatever USB front access adapter they want in a front bay and still have a bay for Blue Ray. I'm definitely hanging onto this case because it offers the best of both worlds. I got it for a song because it was obviously on clearance. (Probably because it had two front bays hidden behind a hinged door.) It cost me a whopping 85 dollars Canadian with a 600 Watt power supply included. It has USB 3.1 and when the system board already comes with USB 3.2 on it you can always run a hub from the back for easy access to those speeds if you wish. Yeah, they don't make 'em like they used to.

Myself, I wouldn't get all hung up on USB 3.2 ports on the case. Odds are, your system board will provide that natively. If you're lazy like me you can always run a hub from the back of the case for easy access. If you're fortunate enough to have at lease one front bay you could always run your own USB 3.2 to the front. People have different needs and preferences. For me, a wall of fans on the front of the case makes no sense.

Lian Li makes quality cases. This is indisputable. You will also pay through the nose for these cases because they are of the utmost highest quality.

Since the powers that be changed the nomenclature there is technically NO USB 3.0 anymore. USB 3.0 was officially changed in name to USB 3.1. I hope this helps to clear up some of the confusion.

I waited years and years to see USB4 become a standard native reality on system boards. Every year the pundits would say "next year" and it wouldn't be the case. Finally board manufacturers started releasing it. By that time I was already using Thunderbolt. Since then I've considered how badly I really need USB4 and to be honest I really don't. Thunderbolt 3 suits my needs just fine. Now if I were in the market for a brand new system board I would certainly be looking for USB4. Thankfully I'm not in the market for a brand new system board. Speed is addictive but how much speed does a person really need depends on what they're using their PC for. I would venture that not even ten percent of people using a PC need USB to run this fast. It certainly isn't needed for gaming, social media, or even rendering. There are even better options in that regard. But that's just my opinion and everyone has their personal preferences.

$120 for the Lian Li Lancool 217 with all those included fans isn't a very reasonable price to pay?

Closer to two hundred CA and over that with the tax, but that certainly is a good looking case with the walnut trim.

Again. User preference prevails. To the best of my knowledge and experience Lian Li makes nothing but quality.

It does but when they decided what names to call the newer versions they could of thought it out more. It's probably just as confusing as in the George Foreman household when children were growing up and someone said hey George. I can just see all six Georges answering at the same time.

How ironic! I wonder if we'll ever be seeing USB4 PCIe cards being released for PCs using DDR4 RAM. Thunderbolt can be such a pain at times.
