Pc is unusable because of crashes.

When in bios or doing anything else it does not crash or freeze . It only crashes when the process of installing windows begins

One of my old PC got a similar issue years ago. downgrading to Win7 or XP OS install, still freezing/crashing. It could be alive only less than 20-30 minutes. Inspecting the motherboard, a cap was suspicious (liquid leaking).

you can inspect your motherboard, to see if any part broken or cap leaking. but anyway, easy solution is to change motherboard.

You had your motherboard looked at/changed and your cpu correct?

The temps in the bios show as fine?

You tried with one stick of ram, and the same result? Have you tried new ram?

Have you tried a completely different storage device?

So , for context i have been hsving these problems ever since i built my pc but now they are worse than ever (it was never as bad as it is now) . In the past i have sent both my motherboard and my cpu to the manufacturer and they told me both were good. i have tried switching ram sticks , i have ran memtest , i have unplugged one of my 2 storage devices one by one.

You didn't answer my question about temps so I assume they are fine. So the only thing that has not been changed out is the ram and storage. I suggest doing that then. Send the ram back and get a new pair from warranty exchange and the same thing with the drives. If the problem still exists, do the same with the power supply. Same with the graphics card.

You have to eliminate each component from not being the issue. Once you have done all that, the issue should be solved. If still somehow not, make sure your wiping the drive and getting windows installer from the official source:


Install windows, install all updates and no other programs. See if it crashes. No crashing? Add one program slowly one day at a time that you use. If it crashes remove that program.

There is literally nothing else after that.

i have bought another psu and tested it and it still crashes so thats not the problem . I just cant get to install windows on it so idk what to do . I think tommorow i ll go to a repair shop or something , ive tried too many things it tires me so hard. Probably there is like a incompatibility problem or something about my not very nice cpu idk. But before i spend money on new cpu and mb i think i should go to this shop to be sure
