Keep in mind before i upgraded CPU Cooler in May 2022 i was topping out when i ran Battlefield 4, then Battlefield 2042 at about 93-95C, (That was with Intel LGA 1200 Stock cooler at the time)

So guess cooling isn't too bad right now, and i keep system as dust free as i can, typically dusted out every 2-3 weeks or at least every month, as can't access rear psu filter unless lay case on its side to detach it

Damn you're 10700 runs hotter than my 10700k overclocked :O

Those numbers seem pretty high to me. My Ryzen 9-5900x gets up to about 75c at absolute max. My video card, althought slightly undervolted, rarely gets about 55c.

Well if I can ever get out to a local micro center instead of shop that built it, will replace cpu cooler with better one and better mesh case. For now have to make due as best I can.

I picked the case at shop in 2020, I should've picked better one cooling wise lol,,may upgrade that first, then video card think plan finalized for future now or soon as money arrives from tax return

My hyper 212 is sound man, It isn't that much better than whats in you're specs and its enough for my k model at higher clock speeds, Somethings not right somewhere for sure man. Personally i'd have went noctua if i knew how hot my 10700k was gonna be prior to purchase but is what it is, Does the job atleast.

Well if i knew about this Thermaltake V200 Case originally, i probably would've not picked it, and instead picked a Fractual Design case or something better that local shop had. As they did the install in June 2020 and then Cooler upgrade in May 2022.

As for this CPU cooler was only Air Cooler shop had in stock then, as I failed installing Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 Myself, and forgot to take it along when got this PC to shop and my Ride was not gonna go back to get The Be Quiet Pure Rock 2

If i can ever get out to local Microcenter perhaps they'd install it properly, but its far, and i don't drive, and Family rides are pain to get at times, so for now just does best i can at this point.

I believe that the I7-10700 throttles at 100C. If you can stay below that, you'll see no performance loss.

The Arctic Freezer 7X isn't a high-capacity cooler (only 2 heat pipes), but it doesn't seem to be failing you.

The Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 would have been better. What problem did you have installing it? (It's supposed to be compatible with LGA 1200, and even the newer LGA 1700.) I didn't check to see whether it requires a backplate, which can complicate installation.

Well problem i had was one of the backplate securing things got stuck in the bracket and couldn't get the screw out, i may have used the wrong brackets--i'm not sure, it was my first ever time trying to install an upgraded Air cooler. Yes it did require a backplate, though i had it on there fine, but maybe not

Then started getting bothered in my real life here, so i was like well guess i'll have shop install an upgraded Cooler, and be done with it professionally.

Put the Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 back in the box, and All the Intel Parts into a Zip Lock bag, and thats where its been in my closet for months now.

I liked that one since it had Thermal Paste pre applied on bottom of cooler, that way wouldn't have to worry on applying correct amount, just cleaning off the old with 99 percent isopropyl alcohol, then place new cooler on top, and secure to the brackets. But sadly didn't go as planned that day

Its HwMonitor giving the wrong info, HwInfo is a different program. HwInfo64 Is the successor to HwMonitor hence the weird info.

The i7-10700 supports both Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 so as a result of this, Turbo performance gets held back a long time BEFORE its temperate gets even close to its TJUNCTION of 100*C. See:

I agree. Personally, Turbo is the first thing i disable, If turbo is lets say (Making up numbers) takes me to 4.3ghz but my stock is lets say 3.7, Im turning it off and running 4.3 solid.

When Room Ambient temp is cold, i sometime see up to 4.7ghz if i'm lucky, typically 4.6, hardly ever 4.8 though lol, but is what it is lol, but maybe once i get the cooling improved in system in foreseeable future, i'll see 4.7-4.8ghz more, as even video card will benefit from the better cooling in the future.

But don't know if i have the confidence to attempt another CPU Cooler upgrade as yet or not, as i got 2 models in mind if i was capable of doing it, it would either be Mugen 5 Black Edition, or Some Deep Cool model with TDP up to 220w lol

Plus i don't hardly get any peace in my real life, so think i better just get the top fans when i can, and see how that does

My dad has an i5-10400, the Maximum Turbo Frequency with this specific CPU model happens to be at that same 4.3 GHz that you mention. But with Turbo Boost disabled it runs at its Base Frequency, which is only 2.9 GHz so no, you can't make it run at 4.3 GHz when Turbo is disabled. Solid or otherwise, it can't. That's just because it's a so-called "non-K" CPU, i.e., it's a locked one. It's just a 499 Euros PC that's a little over 2 years old now with no discrete graphics, 16GB RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Nothing exactly very special. But then, in this kind of weather, who needs that i9-13900K that can blow way up and beyond 300W worth of electric heating right underneath your office chair. It's like BA said. I pity the fool. lol

Your computer specs must be out of date because I see you have an Intel CPU. My Ryzen 9 5700X was running a max of 83c. I just switched cases and installed more fans. Now it's about 71c max. Not sure what it would be stressed, though.

Thats why i said personally :) Im aware that non k models can't be OC'd, Hence why i bought a k model. Meh power draw isn't something i ever look at when buying components other than psu etc to make sure im sound, Doing nothing it should be pretty chill, My 10700k is pretty hot as far as cpu's go anyway so can't be much worse.

Looks OK. Scythe is a well-known brand. Not cheap.

(If you wished to compare fans to the ones from Noctua, they specify their fans' airflow in cubic meters per hour. One cubic meter per hour is 0.59 cubic feet per minute.) I don't see a Noctua fan with an 1800 RPM maximum spin. 1500 and 2000 are their choices.

I'd suggest that any fans you get be PWM (pulse width modulated). That's a relatively modern form of variable speed control.

You could replace the front fans with industry standard types, but they wouldn't be compatible with the Thermaltake controller. If you have more fans than you have motherboard fan headers, you could always use an inexpensive hub like the one I linked to earlier. (One caveat: all fans connected to the hub would nominally run at the same speed.)

Installing top fans shouldn't increase dust greatly. Do you clean the inside of the case, or just blow out the air filters? (I haven't checked, but I assume there are filters.)
