Was using verifygui from the run dialogue, start+r. Did notice drivers that run in safe mode were in the WDV menu so I just reset WDV and booted up normally and did WDV again from there, didn't mean to run WDV config in safe mode.

Boot problems from before were just bitlocker being tedious so added a boot selection menu to do either normal or safe mode booting, don't have to power cycle multiple times or enter a bitlocker recovery key anymore, will remove this after all this testing

Other boot issue is just that after a bsod, the screen message says, you are free to reboot, and doesn't auto reboot so I just wait a minute or so after it says 100% and hold power button to restart. Otherwise, is all ok.

This software uses its proprietary software to read selected SMART data to attempt to predict future drive problems.

There were two drives (no flash drives).

Both were 100% predictions.

Would assume I'd just have to hunt for the drivers for the Wi-Fi card being the culprit or consider replacing the Wi-Fi card with a different card?

Ordinarily drivers from 3rd party applications are not used (trusted).

The computer or motherboard manufacturer sites are the best tested.

Then component manufacturer are next best.

Then Windows is next.


If a third party is needed then:



If there is no driver without BSOD then swap test the applicable hardware.

Have started the WDV and uninstalled VirturalDesktop as earlier in this thread, had to have this uninstalled or that selecting this driver for WDV caused breakpoint BSOD's. Probably going to leave this uninstalled from here on out and use a different computer if I need to use this program if it ends up being the culprit.

but then did have two crashes with the new verifier settings, apologies for slipping on choosing the right WDV settings.

Checking the latest fullmemory dump that I notice "netadaptercx.sys"

Do I just go ahead and uninstall this Wi-Fi driver and see if it passes the WDV with all except random low resources? Then consider just getting a different Wi-Fi card from now on out as this has been a bad experience with this Wi-Fi card.

Went ahead and uninstalled all drivers for the Wi-Fi card and used Windows Update to grab that preferred driver by Microsoft.
Driver Date: 2/18/2025
Driver Version: 5.5.0.3366

Have went into safemode and uninstalled via DDU and installed one version I see many use on the frame.work forum's lately
whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.1.1-win11-c.exe, 26.1.1 , January 21st 2026
Also checked Factory Reset via the amd install menu.

Had tried to boot two times with the "verifier /reset & verifier /flags 0x03EE8FB1 /all"
Booting was very slow, and spent more than 15 minutes on the lock screen with the clock frozen and unresponsive to even enter in my pin. Clock was stuck at 1:51am.
Safe mode, reset, attached v2 logs - FRMWRK-(2026-05-13_02-27-12).zip
