Don't know if this is the right forum but here's my problem...
Windows 11 23H2
windows 11 laptop camera is working but can't save pictures. It automatically tries to save them and I'll be darned if I can find anywhere to change that. My snipping tool was doing the same thing but I was able to change it in the settings and now I can save to another folder but the camera setting doesn't have that option.
I get error 0x8007000f
When I go to settings and try to change the default location where photos and videos will save to to the D drive I get the above error.
I actually get 2 errors when I take a pic...
0xA00F424F and 0x8007000F
Yes, I updated the camera driver. Tried changing defaults etc.

I'm certain it has something to do with my system not knowing where the picture folder is. Both the snipping tool and the camera are having problems so I'm pretty sure it's not the apps.

I wish there was a way short of a nuclear option to get all the related settings back to default.

To fix the error, you can try running the Windows Camera troubleshooter. If that doesn’t work, you can change the location or reset the app.

I guess I'll live without the camera cause I don't want to have nuke it.
