Solved Please, help me increase the size of my EFI partition

I have used the link you provided, logged in to my account and downloaded the same file you have provided, as it is the only one available.

I am getting the same error - see my previous screenshot. It does not work, it does not install it.

Anyways, I do not care. I've installed the latest BIOS and it is enough for me. There is nothing much else I can do.

It can be used as is, from a bootable flash drive, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.

Just out of curiosity, I've just tried to install it using my USB stick. I am getting the same error - see screenshot from my previous post. It does not install at all on my USB stick, as soon as the installer starts and I select to install it on my USB drive, I am getting the same error.

My conclusion is that this specific file is not appropriate for my laptop. This is why it is not available on the devices webpage.

If HP would have a decent Customer Service, I would email them about all these issues. It would be good for them to know. But they have a horrible customer service. I have paid for an extra coverage plan. I connected with them on WhatsApp. It takes them hours to provide a response. In all those hours I have been waiting, all I have received was a stupid recommendation to Reset the BIOS, which did not help at all.

It was just luck what allowed me to install the latest BIOS and I am glad I got it.

There is a huge difference between HP consumer and business support.

For consumer support 10 years ago I'd had the same impression.

It was night and day for business support.

HP business has excellent support.

When this business laptop dies I'll have to pay extra for another business model.

This laptop (mobile workstation) (approximately 10 years old) was able to install the most up to date UEFI diagnostics.

The consumer laptop may have different requirements.
