On your Android phone, download Microsoft OneDrive from the Android Google Play Store.
Choose the OneDrive option to backup Android photos to cloud OneDrive.

In your Computer's local OneDrive /Pictures folder, your Android photos will now be found in the Camera Roll folder.

I absolutely love having all my Android photos seamlessly available on my Microsoft computer.

If you have old Windows Phone photos in your Camera Roll folder, they will remain there.
My Camera Roll folder has photos from all the phone cameras I've ever owned going back many years!
Another advantage of using OneDrive to save your camera photos is that they are saved at full resolution!

I know when I had my Android Samsung phone Samsung had there own backup util for the phone that you could download from their site be it Windows or Mac.

I used EaseUs which was fine until I needed it. The restore failed and made my laptop unbootable. MR for me!
Acronis is good but I never needed all those features.

The only disadvantage with MR is you can't restore without a working mouse.

In my experience MR backs up my data much faster than AOMEI, so I switched several months back.

Or a laptop TouchPad. I use Macrium Reflect and don't use a mouse.

That is a problem.

I'm fortunate that over my lifetime of photography I've always culled ruthlessly and saved only my best. Video uses huge amounts of data and I have very little video. My pictures folder is 184GB and currently contains 54,844 files. My Documents folder is 6.69GB and currently contains 5,299 files in 1,707 folders. My cloud OneDrive storage is currently just a little over 200GB. I have 1.04 TB of cloud OneDrive.

I have just used Macrium Reflect because I needed to change an SSD for another, and it was successful. Unfortunately, I do not need this often enough to spend money on it and usually use Mini Tool Partition Wizard 10 which is on my other PC's. Of course, I had the latest free MTPW which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot installed on the pc that needed the cloning. I simply could not get the older version onto the pc, the sites which say they have it force something else on every time

I used Macrium Reflect Free for several years before I paid for it in one of their Black Friday discounts. The Free version does everything most users need.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

@siliconbeaver Of course! Sorry, I was mentally trying to put the initials IB into the framework of some kind of computer usage.

I've traded full time with Interactive Brokers for over 20 years and the trading platform I use is their Trader Workstation. I'm a short-term trader and I have highly customized Trader Workstation's Chart Trader.

You say you're an IB Guru? Does that include being a Trader Workstation guru?
