This Canon was re-installed May 28, 2025. It has successfully printed since then UNTIL today. It scans very nicely - it runs a piece of paper through its steps - WITHOUT anything printing. Is this a driver issue? I went to Canon and the driver they offer looks older than the one I installed in may. IE -- from the May download the number is: win3500-1-4. Today the number is as shown: Is this even a driver issue? I changed the ink week ago - test page printed fine.

you could try removing the printer from the system and then use add new printer
this should install only the drivers tat are needed for the printer to print.

best of luck, Steve ..

You have run out of ink or nozzles blocked, black cartridge and 2 colours of the colour cartridge, or incorrectly inserted cartridges.

IJ Printer Assistant Tool > View Printer Status, to check on state of cartridges and do nozzle cleaning. It's all listed in the online manual.

win-ts3500-1_4-n_mcd.exe is the recommended driver setup package.

It should give you a choice of various options.

The driver you have listed is correct, but I think it just contains some extras, probably ScanGear, IJ Printer assistant Tool which are certainly not bloatware, useful utilities. for the printer/scanner.

Extra Apps are listed separately, those are up to you, certainly not essential.

To all responders - Printer up and running now. Label inadvertently left on new printer cartridge -- so obviously couldn't print with that situation. Finally figured it out. Not connectivity problem - stupidity problem.
I really appreciate all of your help...
Thank you.
