Hello, Bob, and welcome to ElevenForum.Where can I find the printer ink levels / status in Windows11 --------- Simple enough in windows10 as the Icon was on the taskbar unlike windows 11 which I believe is Bluetooth
My Brother Laser printer tells me when my toner is getting low. So does the Epson inkjet when my ink is getting low.I go to Bluetooth and Devices, Printers & Scanners. Choose the printer, and then Printer properties. Maintenance tab, then the View Printer Status button at the bottom right.
Inks levels are shown for my inkjet printer.
I know of nothing similar that's built into Windows for a laser printer's toner cartridge or drum.
Yes. So do mine. I think there are utilities for the lasers that can display toner and drum usage, but I never invoke them. I'm not sure what "BobT" refers to as a taskbar item. Was there such a Windows utility, or was it some third-party app?My Brother Laser printer tells me when my toner is getting low. So does the Epson inkjet when my ink is getting low.
I actually hadn't thought of checking on the ink and toner status since I always get plenty of lead time for new ink or toner.
Thank you, Bob.Hi.
I have an EPSONXP -2100 Series printer and this would normally be installed using a disc with all the relevant icons on the desktop or taskbar.
My new HP Laptop does not have the facility for inserting a disc as the printer is added automatically with Bluetooth.
No Visible printer levels are available with Bluetooth for this printer, but when printing I get a warning of low level ink. The printer will flash to indicate the ink problem and by opening the printer and pushing the button next to the flashing light for 3/4 seconds the printer colour cartridge carrier will stop at a pointer indicating which colour requires replacing. change the colour cartridge as normal. ( hope this makes sense )
