If you don't want Armoury Crate, there's one possible consideration:

I have an Asus Z690-E motherboard. It has a BIOS setting that allows it to automatically download and install Armoury Crate. I've disabled it.

I don't use or like Armoury Crate but I do use MyAsus on both my desktop PC and my Asus Laptop.

With Armoury Crate I don't have any use for its much vaunted features. The stuff for ASUS motherboards that they advertise.
  • Dashboard: Got other utilities that do that stuff.
  • FanXpert: Have Corsair case, fans AIO.
  • AniMe Matrix™ Wouldn't apply to my motherboard or laptop.
  • Shutdown effect: Yawn.
  • Aura Sync (RGB & Addressable header): See above, have Corsair stuff.
  • Audio: Is disabled on the motherboard.
  • OLED panel setting: No use for it as I have a Panasonic TV for a PC monitor.
  • Driver, utility & BIOS: Do it for myself thanks.
  • Manual & document: Downloaded the manuals from ASUS long time ago.
  • Peripherals: Don't use any ASUS stuff, have Logitech keyboard and mouse.

I'm confused. I looked back at your first post. I thought you were really concerned about the lighting for your keyboard. Armoury Crate is only used if you are using an ASUS keyboard that is supported by it. Are you using an ASUS keyboard?

Which keyboard do you have? Logitech sells a G15 keyboard but I don't think it even has any lighting.

Did you get your keyboard from Falcon Northwest? They sell computers with several keyboards to choose from. These include the Logitech G915 X and the Logitech G915 X Lightspeed keyboards. The difference is:
  • Logitech G915 X (wired)
  • Logitech G915 X Lightspeed (wireless)
Both keyboards use the Logitech G HUB software to configure them. However, if you have this keyboard then there should also be dedicated keys to control the keyboard lighting.

Yeah man the Logitech keyboard has lightning. I should have bought it from them when I bought the PC but a long story made me buy one before the PC was made. So I bought it and I’m planning to call em and have them tell me step by step how to install it.

If you really have the Logitech G915 X keyboard, you probably want the G-Hub software. That should allow you to control the lighting of your keyboard.

(I don't need it, myself. I only use a wired Logitech mouse, which isn't lighted.)
