Problem Installing Office Pro Plus 2021 locally via officedeploymenttool


Maybe just install as normal without the xml stuff and accept that your installing the whole package then.......sucks but unless I play around more not sure what's going on. Also, make sure to enable uac to always notify. You should never need to disable it.

You could also ask for microsoft support, you bought the product after all and it does come with install support

Also, I just noticed your Product ID is set to ProPlus20231Retail. You probably meant ProPlus2021Retail. Note the extra 3 in yours.

Yep, taking out the SourcePath attribute fixes the "we weren't able to download a required file" problem. Fixing the Product ID in the latest XML file was also necessary.
