Hi Edwin thank you. I try uninstall and re-install work not. I create new Guest account work without problem on guest account. On my Admin account work not. :(

I use that one on my win7 computer i have hooked up to my TV and home cinema system.
I heard they stopped developing it... now i see they still going strong... Thanks for the link to update me on its still going. :cool: (y)

Edit:
i have used this one for ages, so i can strongly recommend this one to others.. I'm actually using it right now in writing moment as I'm watching the series Bonanza S13E17 :cool:

Most members of this forum have given up on the built in Windows Media Player, yours is just another example of posts in multiple forums ... "Help. Windows Media Player won't .... "

3rd party options have proved far superior, especially in reliability given the wide range of video file-types that are now available

Options are
Daum PotPlayer
VLC Player

Most of the 3rd party options don't require the installation of codec add-ons (like K-Lite, Shark, etc) which can sometime make changes to other software if the installation is not controlled

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
I have tested and see now Windows media player worked great on early version after update from Microsoft store work no more its bug.
