Solved problem with sound while using spotify

somehow while trying to listen to music via spotify the sound cuts off. there isnt any popup notices. it just started happening now. first time this issue

There are a bunch of high profile outages, Spotify is one of those with outages, could be related.

i tried running sfc scannow..fixed some corrupt files.. restarted, nothing. logged out of spotify and now cant log back in.

"com.spotify.serviceauth.AuthenticationException$TokenExpiredException: Token verification failed: Token has expired"

this is a premium acct..it shouldnt be happening

ok..the error is also on the mobile app. very odd. for now i get my music fix listening on jango as a temp alternative.

i marked as solved (for now)... i reinstalled program, uninstalled the microsoft app. i then used phone to log in (pair) the app...looks like everything is back to normal.
