Qualcomm driver issue leading to BSOD


So far there were no misbehaving drivers and this finding is supporting malfunctioning hardware.

The greater the number of simultaneous drivers tested the greater the hardware stress.

Initially you ran a group of 3 tests then groups of 5 tests.



Run these WDV test groups multiple times to create multiple dump files:

Hardware?…… great. I’ve had an inkling it may be something physical as a pretty normal, and not overly stressful, OC caused more instability than it should. I’ll run each in triplet.

  • Run 1 has booted fine but i am getting stutters and a bit of input latency
  • Run 2 has booted fine but the stutters are the same and I’m getting equal latency
  • Run 3 has booted and I’m getting the same stutters and latency


Anything I say is probably speculation but what I find interesting is that the BSOD’s yesterday only occurred after Group C was run and the NDIS/WIFI as well as systematic low resource tests were both in that. I think my GPU’s power settings have been stock since yestermorning so I think I was wrong but it is strange that the card is very sensitive to power changes.
