Quick Access Collapse / Expand Arrow Missing

For some strange reason I'm not seeing this option in explorer left hand column for quick access.
it works fine for the PC option beneath it but I've been unable to find any kind of setting to enable it.
Has anyone else encountered this issue ?

Decided to rid my system of W11 from secondary SSD and wait until Microsoft get their act together,
but I won't hold my breath because I'm not sure they are capable of accomplishing that task.

I would try deleting this reg value
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Ribbon\qatitems
and rebooting

Always recommend creating an export before deleting.

I do have an image saved of the latest build just in case.

I don't know if you used WT (Winaero Tweaker). A couple of months ago, I changed the icon (QA icon in WT), and everything was a mess! I tried back to default.
Microsoft has a special sensitivity to that!

Yeah, Windows is dickered all over the place now!!!

I think 12 will be good. At the moment, 11 is doing the work of a guinea pig for 12. We also eat our own cheese in the middle..

If I create the custom Quick Access shell location with Winaero, and pin it, it has the collapse/expand arrow...,
but I still can't get rid of the new QA/Home thing!!!
And, they're both the same damn thing!!!

Why doesn't MS just leave sh*t alone! It was fine the way it was since there was sliced bread!

It was 4 PM (I was writing, and again the Internet problem… since a week ago no Internet here between 4-12)! Disgusting . It's 8 AM, and I have internet!

BTW, I have turned off all NP (Navigation Pane) items, except for QA and "Removable Devices". Sometimes my NP shows an extra "This PC" item in the Explorer window (SS below, #3).
