Solved Random BSODs on New System = Misc codes and triggers

Hi All,

I have a fairly new system that seems to only run smoothly when I reinstall Windows 11 Pro. So far, I've RMA'd my CPU, RAM, and Mobo. The Mobo had a DIMM slot issue that Asus repaired. I noticed that the system seemed to crash more after I installed Norton 360, so I got rid of that and am using Windows Defender at the moment. I've also noticed an uptick in crashing after updating the GPU drivers. I can't provide an exact trigger because it can crash while just on the desktop immediately after restart and I'm getting codes that indicate RAM to Kernel issues. I've also noticed that the computer will sometimes lose connection with the mouse and keyboard after a crash or while running DISM restore command. I've reinstalled Windows 2 to 3 times in the last month or so.

Some findings:

New Windows installation 06/19/2025
Just one BSOD
Intel GPU
BSOD caused by Intel GPU driver
Multiple WHEA hardware event viewer entries
BIOS not up to date

Please perform the following steps:

1) Please open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:

DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:WMIC~~~~

2) Run Tuneup plus > post a share link

3) Reinstall the Intel GPU drivers from the Asus motherboard website:

4) Install the chipset drivers

Okay, I was able to complete everything on the list except reinstalling the Intel VGA driver. I used DDU to remove the old drivers and tried to reboot in Safe Mode, but Windows lost my PIN access, so I had to reinstall the OS. I've attached the tuneup log and Intel VGA logs.

The computer has an Intel dGPU.

After any reset or clean install make sure to run Tuneup plus to have the optimal settings for detecting and troubleshooting BSOD.

Consider making free or pay backup images.

Then restoring an image or an updated image can be performed as necessary.

(Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Hasleo, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)

Macrium is widely used in Ten Forums however it may no longer be free.
