Random CMD Window flashs...

While doing regular stuff for me, I see a black CMD window flash up and do something, and close quickly. It latest about 1/2 second.
I seems to be random. But I can say that it happens about 60-90 minutes after a restart of Win11, which I do not do often. Other times it happens randomly. Sometimes watching, YouTube, or opening Win Explorer, or playing music. But usually happens a day or two after a Win restart, but not always. I've noticed it after a few weeks from a reboot.
I'm reporting this from memory. These times are not exact.
But I do know this all happened after in in-place upgrade from Win 10 to 11.
I do not see any performance reduction.
My several antivirus programs that run only when I call them, show nothing.
I can post a log, but do not know which one, or where they might be.
My Win10/11 install is 8 years old. (never need to reinstall WIn10/11)
The logs may be long or short.
Any help would be appreciated.

See and cmd.exe command is executed at startup and maybe scheduled using Autoruns.

All of mine do the same but the flash is fast, once in awhile I notice there is no text in the window.

I notice these quick terminal windows as well but they are always to fast for me to read. I haven't noticed a set pattern to them but I assume Windows decides to run some kind of task or maintenance. I am curious as to what it's doing though.

If you want to use Process Monitor to watch for processes to start and stop, there's a filter for that in my post over here. You can just let ProcMon run until the mystery window appears, then look for it in the ProcMon results. The Detail column should give you some clues as to what the process was and how it was started.

I get this sometimes. After a search around I discovered that these flash windows are often related to drivers loading, often display drivers. Not sure if I read anywhere that these pop-up post load after long periods of Windows operating. However I wouldn’t put it past this occurring. Perhaps Windows sometimes calls on a driver to load depending on the operation, however I would expect all driers to be pre loaded.

That would make sense since the display/desktop is not Static like a picture on the wall but Dynamic, always changing when other things are going on.
