Random small audio lags

I only recently updated my PC to 24H2, clean install and everything. Yet, I noticed an issue I didn't had on 23H2. Whenever I watch videos or do anything, randomly you can hear the audio just lagging for a second. It's so random and uncommon that it doesn't bother me that much yet I wonder what could cause that issue? Is it a known issue with 24H2? I looked at other threads but none of them answered my question directly, I tried different solutions, I changed the Hz of my audio output, I reinstalled Realtek Audio drivers. But that didn't work, what should I do?

Have you detected a pattern?
Is it specific to some apps, games, videos, music?
Have you looked at the output of WinKey + R dxdiag.exe (enter)?

I've not noticed a lag with audio. What is the connection to your listening device (Bluetooth, Wi-fi, wired)? Is it with all listening devices (speakers, headphones, etc.)? What's the brand of the listening device(s)?

Yes, when opening an application like starting a game, or a youtube video, sometimes not however, very random like I said. I just looked at output. Everything seems to be in order.

Hi @Alainikus

You've probably done this already but check any cables used for audio (if any). I had this same issue on my PC the other day, it turned out to be a USB cable that was the culprit.

Are you plugging directly into your computer's aux port, or are you running it through a DAC? If the latter, it could be a USB cable, as Marcus Vinicus said.

There are lot of things to do. First, you might see about updating your sound drivers. If you did that recently and started experiencing the lags, then roll back to a previous version of the sound driver.
