Solved Rectify11

It works both in downloads and as a desktop run time, but as admin only.
What others, in installation be checked?
All ignore should remain unchecked?

Thanks again for the reply.

@MaRio , care to reply to the queries about SecureUXTheme tool. Would appreciate it.

Thanks,

You can place the exe in the themes folder (C:\Windows\Resources\Themes), along with all of the .msstyles files, since you don't need it all the time. You have to run it as admin as it needs to modify some files.
As for the checkboxes you can leave them like they already are. Hooking into settings or logonUI can cause it to slow down a lot. So it's best to just have 'Rename DefaultColors' checked and leave it like that. Same goes for the left side (all the ignores).

However I don't see any Rectify themes in your screenshot. IDK if the installation failed or what, but you should have these

Yes, first run the Rectify installer. It will try to install UltraUXThemePatcher but you can cancel that. And after that just patch and apply the theme from the theme tool.

After Rectify installer, cancelling UltraUX, need to install windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.7-win-x64.exe.....correct?

@MaRio ,

1. Installed Rectify, it's awesome, made W11 nice looking and a bit more stable, responsive.

2. Post install on reboot while patching gave an error a few times, some what like unable to open Hacker Resource files....

3. A few issues, I don't know what I messed with explorer looks like pretty white blank?

4. Haven't yet used Secure UX.....I didn't have to cancel, It picked it up.

5. How to customize mouse cursors etc., adding Mica....etc.

Thanks.

@MaRio , where do I download explorer patcher for 22H2.........from this link.

Thanks and Regards!

Forgot disabling Windows Defender...…o_O

Markella's YouTube videos are nice, but I can't read or speak Russian.

Explorer ep setup is still faulty would be getting fixed for W11.

I just am imagining how great it would be once 3.0 stable is released.:-)

The problem with all these (dubious) custom builds is if things fall over, they may never get fixed - whilst only a few use it the developer can fix things but once user base grows, they just get overwhelmed.

OK MS are not the quickest at fixing issues, but by and large most issues do get fixed.

Custom builds are a gimmick really - not intended for bulk use.

@Alexey2912 you screwed something up, the theme didn't apply fully the way it should. It could be that you forgot to turn off Windows Defender.
Try changing the theme (with the theme tool) to the default Windows one, and then back to Rectify's one. Also it looks like MicaForEveryone is either not installed or not running on your system, and that is the program that ties the look together.

Thanks for the reply @MaRio , you are correct I forget to turn OFF Windows Defender during the install.

Using the installer, I later rolled back to default Windows. I shall reinstall and do as you have recommended. By theme tool you imply SecureUX.....correct? True,..... MicaforEveryone wasn't installed or not running, I guess.

This link hold good...… Release v3.0-RP · MishaTY/Rectify11Installer

It tried installing explorer upgrade (which was offered after patching and reboot seeing the w11 version), but failed, file named ep setup size 1.5 MB.

How will I know when ver.3.0 stable is released?

BTW, even the partial experience was great and I found W11 far, stable, responsive and better looking, less of bloat.

Could you care to post step wise how to install? And or correct my install procedure...…I'd appreciate it.

#1. Turn off all settings for virus protection in Security Center.
#2. Install run time...…..windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.7-win-x64.exe.
#4. Install/Run SecureUX theme as admin.
Will ask for a Reboot for patching W11 files.
#3. Install VC_redist.x64.exe.
#4. Install Rectify installer exe.....Rectify11Installer.exe.

Hoping to hear back.
Thanks again.
Regards!

Ok, homeboy, I've reinstalled it just to make sure it all works. Here's the order.

1. Clean install normal Windows 11, and update it fully (so that Windows Update says no updates available)
2. Download the VC_redist, Desktop Runtime, and RectifyInstaller from the Github page
3. Download and install Winaero Tweaker
4. Using Winaero Tweaker disable Windows Defender (you'll probably first have to disable Tamper Protection) and restart your PC
5. Install the VC_redist, and Desktop Runtime
6. Run the Rectify installer as admin, it may take some time to start, just wait for it
7. Chose either full or safe install, and the options that you want (I personally don't use explorer patcher)
8. Follow the instructions of the installer
9. When the UltraUXThemePatcher installer shows up, just close it (click cancel)
10. Your PC will restart and the file patching will begin, it takes 5-10 minutes, just wait it out
11. Once you boot into Windows, download SecureUXTheme (ThemeTool.exe) from the Github page, and place it in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
12. Run the Theme Tool as admin
13. Press 'Install' on the right side, it will ask you to restart your PC
14. After the restart, run the Theme Tool again (as admin), and select the "Rectify11 Dark Mica theme (Fixed Ribbon)" and then press 'Patch' and then 'Apply'
15. In the system tray you'll see MicaForEveryone open, click on it's icon and it will open the MFE settings
16. On the left side you will see "Global Rule", and "Explorer" tabs, in both of them set the following settings: Dark, Acrylic, Default, On, On, like in this picture; if you don't like round corners you can set corner mode to 'Square'
1664739057202.png
17. Go back to Winaero Tweaker and turn ON Windows Defender
18. If you don't like the context menu, you can disable it and use the default Windows11 one by going to C:\Windows\contextmenu, and then run shell.exe as Admin, and click unregister

And that's it, your Windows should look like this

Will it get automatically updated once stable is released... or will get some notification?

One last question.....I see you have VMWare installed........am I correct?
You tested this on it, have W11 Rectified as your daily OS. correct........do you get W11 security, cumulative updates in Rectify too? or maybe in version 3 stable?

I haven't tried uninstalling. But yes, hopefully it all goes without errors. It makes a backup of everything it changed, I think.
I am not using VMware, I use VirtualBox. I tested all of this in a virtual machine. However, I also Rectified my daily OS. There used to be some issues with updates, but it somehow resolved itself, and now I get all updates with no problems.
