Had you rebooted since the text got lost on the recycle bin? Reads like a very temp system glitch to me and it was the reboot not the renaming.
I say this because renaming the recycle bin couldn’t possible have anything to do with the missing text from explorer. I’m happy to be told otherwise.

I restored a Macrium image from one week ago and the recycle bin text is missing then too, so it's been there for at least a week...

Right click the recycle bin, hit rename and delete the text. Now the text is missing right? Maybe this was possible from some key combination when I wiped the keyboard...

Many things are possible when cleaning keys whilst the keyboard is connected to your PC. You don’t need a mouse to get around a computer, you can navigate with the keyboard. Also select, delete etc etc. very likely what happend. You’re lucky you didn’t lose anything really.

Like @Ghot said, shut down or disconnect the keyboard 🙏

I’m more interested in the missing txt in file explorer. It doesn’t make any sense to me.

Neither do I and the recycle bin is appearing on my desktop without any issues.
