Is there any way I can run a registry backup from, say, a batch file?

This is great - thank you!1

I've tweaked the batch file so that it will run from a shortcut by adding extra code to make it 'Run as Administrator'.

The backup should be a .reg file.
Just double click it to merge it with the registry.
Depending on what was changed or changed-back, you may have to reboot to apply.

The backup registry hives can be restored from offline like Windows 11 recovery environment.
