renesas usb 3.0

my computer is windows 11 pro 22h2 intel. os build 2261.3007
where do I find "renesas usb 3.0 extensible host controllers - 1.0". I looked everywhere. I am worried I would pick the wrong ones.
this is not my expertly.
does this mean anything "

Windows 11 has USB 3 drivers, you don´t need any Renesas driver. They were necessary for Windows 7, because it didn´t have USB 3 drivers.

Not exactly correct. In some cases, the circuitry or components are different enough from the hardware that the vanilla Windows drivers support so that the Windows supplied drivers won't completely work right. Case in point: My MSI motherboard in my other PC requires the USB3 drivers from the MSI website in order to operate properly. The generic Windows drivers don't cut it and neither do the OEM drivers supplied by Windows Update.

@clfmoher Just find the make and model of your PC and go to the manufacturer's website and download the most current USB3 driver and you should be all right. There is nothing confusing about that. Just make sure the drivers are made by Renesas in case there is a choice of more than one. You may also have to download the chipset drivers. Just install them and reboot when you are done and you should be good to go.

Also, please provide us with the exact make and model of the PC you are trying to get drivers for.

If you need drivers for a third-party USB controller, they should be available from Asus.

As you haven't listed your motherboard, we cannot provide a link.

Renesas, fresco logic, via, amd , intel don't use third party drivers for windows 10 and 11.
You need to leave the default drivers.
Only asmedia provide third party drivers for theirs usb controllers in windows 10 and 11.
