Solved Restart option not working.

And if they don't work.... the next step would be...

Option #2, here...


Takes about 45 minutes on my comp. And it will keep your programs, drivers, data... etc.


If you're running any 3rd party tweaking programs... tell us which ones. :-)
For example... there's one or two settings in Winaero Tweaker that can break the Taskbar and/or Start Menu.


Most of the regulars on here... use 3rd party backup software.
Microsoft keeps breaking things... and backup software is about the only defense. :-)

unfortunately i dont have the option 1. Will try option 2
and no i don't have any tweak thought i do have wallpaper engine.

I did a system restore but failed. and somehow the restart option works again. will monitor in the meantime. i did sfc and dism again nothing found.
