Solved Restore Recovery Partition Without a USB Flash Drive?

You should not try s.th. ! You should do s.th!
Do you want to install WIN 10 on the same machine as WIN11?

YOU don't have to remove any disk, if it's like that.

And don't follow charlatans, telling you that it's better to have separate ESP-Partitions for each disk

Important: If you need help, you should accept help!
No, I'm not trying to install Win10 on my personal Win11 laptop, I'm trying to clone my company's original drive (Win10, which comes from a Dell Vyse mini CPU) to a clone drive (which also will be Win10, a SATA SSD with a USB adapter) using the official Microsoft Win10 media creation tool, in hopes that the cloned disk works just like the original, and all my work software works exactly the same. Such software requires authentication from the Windows user in order to work, and I cannot login from that user from another pc or drive, other than the work Dell Vyse mini CPU -or- (I hope) a successfully cloned drive, exact copy of the work drive

The only association here with Win11 is just that my personal laptop from which I was trying to do this, my "workspace", from which I was testing all these the partition softwares, etc, is Win11

I don't want nor need to change my personal Win11 drive, it's fine as it is

Ok... Sorry for delay... So, I think I tried EVERYTHING but still can't do this :(

I was able to install fresh WIN10 stock (tried both home and pro) downloaded from official Microsoft site, using the Rufus WindowsToGo option, into the clone disk SATA SSD over USB
I worked fine, recovery worked fine too, it was invoked after 2 unsuccessful boots

Then, did was @POLYSIUS recommended, to then clone only the system partition on top of the fresh win10 system partition, got another BSOD

A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed.
Error 0xc000000e

I tried now with another laptop I put the SATA SSD inside of it, so it's internal, not USB, completed fresh WIN10 install from a USB using the official media creation tool, it installed fine
Made a backup image of the system partition of original drive and restored it using AOMEI onto the system partition
THIS TIME it goes STRAIGHT to the Recovery splash screen, diagnosing pc, attempting repairs
It took a long time, like 30-60m, but AGAIN showing:
Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC

It created a log file which I'll upload soon

Now it shows the "reset this PC" option, I tried both with cloud download and local reinstall, both say "there was a problem resetting your PC, no changes were made"

I also tried the Startup Settings option for
"Disable driver signature enforcement"
But it just reboots to the same recovery environment
Also safe mode does the same

BY THE WAY, I just noticed the original drive is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC
Version 1809
Installed on 11/16/2022
OS build 17763.4737

Now, during the Win10 official installation using the media creation tool, it didn't ask me which version of windows I wanted.
Rufus WindowsToGo DOES ask for this, and it shows a lot of options, but none of them is "Enterprise"

BSODs are quite normal when you have different hardware. But you can install any driver from WinRE.

In many cases the Error 0xc000000e
can be fixed by:

cmd:
bcdedit /set {current} device partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume3
bcdedit /set {current} osdevice partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume3

the right partition can be found by diskpart easily.

But that's not the problem.
The Dell Vyse is a Thin Client that needs a server!
I have no experience with that kind of troubleshooting.

So repeat your WIN2GO Installation, run a Backup of the C-Partition and take that
USB-Adapter-Disk to your company and ask for the program that you want to install.
If it's a sophisticated professional program with separate license procedures, it will not work.

So, I went to a mall to find some people that hopefully knew far more than me and they straight up told me "It's a DELL Wyse, it's locked to the machine, cannot be cloned", so I just gave up, and I quit that company, thank you for all efforts and knowing the truth that it was just not possible
