I use the trace programs functionality, but as already mentioned Revo does a very good job of cleaning up after uninstalling apps that were installed on my system before I started using Revo.

I use it occasionally when installing programs I don't trust much or know they don't have good uninstaller. Games are notorious for leaving traces in files (game saves and settings) or registry not clearly associated by Windows and Revo in normal mode can not find and delete. Some device drivers have same habit too. Some programs are like that too or worse. PasMark Performance test is one of them. I creates a hidden folder which even Trace can't detect.
