For no reason, the feature of right clicking the taskbar to show Task Manager is gone. The only thing I recalled doing recently is a Windows Update - 2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022303).

Did anyone face the same issue of the new feature in Windows 11 (right click to show Task Manager) going missing once again?

Works fine for me (on same build) if I right-click directly on the 'Start' Icon. Did you just right-click 'somewhere else' on the 'Task Bar'?

Right-click the Windows start button in the taskbar and select Terminal(Admin) from the menu. In the command prompt, type the following command: c:\vivetool\vivetool /enable /id:36860984 . Press Enter to run it. Restart Windows 11 for the changes to take effect.

It is working for me, same version - as long as you right-click on an unoccupied part of the taskbar.

I was surprised to find it actually is working for me too, but as it didn't when I first bought this laptop I stopped trying

When I first set up Win11 on my new computers I got only Taskbar Settings on that right click but after a few Build updates Task Manager showed up also. I didn't pay attention which update did it but all is good. I have both machines up to date as of last week's Patch Tuesday.

Works fine for me; same version; I just tried after reading your post because this feature disappeared when i installed Windows 11 for the first time; the solution was to right click on th start menu icon

Same for me as Berton posted. Task Manager started showing up in the last week or so. Maybe after "2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022303)" ?

In earlier versions of windows 11 you had to right click start and select task manager from flyout. Right clicking taskbar option was brought back with a recent windows update.

OP is expressly looking for the "somewhere else" option, as in my SS (and Berton's in #7 above). It comes for some in a later build; others may need to use Vivetool Release ViVeTool v0.3.2 · thebookisclosed/ViVe and follow Sir George's instructions (slightly altered here): First, create a folder on C: called Vivetool. Then put the vivetool.exe file that you removed from the zip-file in to that folder. Open a command prompt. In the command prompt, type the following command: c:\vivetool\vivetool /enable /id:36860984 . Press Enter to run it. Restart Windows 11 for the changes to take effect.
