Solved Router as wifi extender

My grandmother said "the cheap meat is good for the dog", meaning of worst quality. As wise men ssy, "you get what you pay for". That doesn't mean the most expensive is the best, but the cheapest possible is 90% the worst.

Not sure what is valid for fiber optic connections, but in the good old ADSL there was a fixed bandwidth for a fixed number of subscribers. If the ISP tried to squeeze more subscribers on the same circuit, the bandwidth was divided. This might not be obvious any time, except when most are connected simultaneously, such as in the evening to watch Netflix. In theory fiber optics don't have this issue, but you get the idea.

PS: I had a similar issue with my Vodafone Greece connection. Frequent disconnections, slow speed, until I upgraded to fiber and they replaced the router. They might have done it on purpose to force me upgrade.

Do you have restrictive QOS set on your Router? What brand, model?
What does your Router connect to on the ISP side? In the US most ISP's will provide their "router" depending on being Wi-Fi, Cable, Fiber or other type. Their "incoming line" connects to their router. Most are now Wi-Fi enabled. Many folks put their own router behind the ISP's as it gives them more control over DHCP leases, QOS and other "home" router features cuz the ISP won't provide admin level access to their router - for obvious reasons! Wi-FI connects to the users router or you can turn it off and connect to the ISP's..=

like knowing is going to be of any use,an isp that don't exist anymore and got taken over by another one with a name vivacom that exist only in my country which based on your location is almost 2k miles away

Not sure,it is using the standard lan cable coming from a switch and then goes to the wifi router but I also tried directly connecting my laptop(skipping to wifi router)and there was no change

I had an old one and they replace it with a new one(much better)but the problem was still there and as I said,I tried directly connecting my laptop,skipping to router
The new one is ZTE ZXHN H3601P

I have seen this a thousand times.

I'm going to keep this simple not to identifiy anyone or any company.
I have been in Networking for 20 years. From a support agent to engineer..

Every ISP has a different model setup. This is why it matters when being ask what ISP is it?

You are the one that is asking for help. The person helping you needs all the information they can gather to help you. Why do you not want to help someone that is helping you???
