Solved Router information


I just answered that right before your post. I was confused only because I did not consider the OP wanted to move the connection to a new new device, so I was thinking about it as an "how to add this to the router while keeping it on the computer".

What @nightowl17 is calling an outdoor range extender is an antenna. I think people here are confusing it with an active WiFi extender like I did at first. It is nothing more than an antenna.

I think that they want to hook up an outside antennae to their WiFi router and increase the distance. If I'm correct, I don't see this working.

Yeah, that was my mistake as well. Hence why I thought he was trying to Add, not replace.

Almost any router with removable antennae. I have a Netgear Nighthawk router with three removable antennae and a Linksys WiFi range extender, RE6500, with removable antennae. Even this little travel router has removable antennae:
