Solved Search Box Web Answers Not Working

Windows 11 26200.7462
Clean-installed two machines this week, both on build 26200.7462. Instant answers aren't working on either. These were things like calculations and conversions where answers were displayed right in the search menu. I'm seeing search results but not the actual answers like before.

In the attached screenshot, the answer would normally appear right at the top. Here's what it should look like.

I tried a variety of re-installs of packages in PowerShell, registry edits, etc. Nothing worked.

Not sure what you mean by "instant answers". Do you mean search history?

If you mean search history, Are you referring to browser searches or file explorer searches. If you are referring to file explorer search history being missing, see this thread.

Negative. Search history, file searches, web searches, etc. are all working. It's the features -- link in the linked screenshot above -- that aren't working.

Sorry I can't help you there or test it since the first thing I do with a clean install is to disable Bing, turn off search highlights and disable all the "other stuff" from showing up in windows search when I search from the taskbar. I don't want to see any of it.
I would be looking at it being related to Bing in some way though.

Just noticed that it's back to working fine on one of the two computers. I'm not aware of anything that changed as far as the settings are concerned...

And now it started working on the other computer. Very weird how it sorted itself out...
