Ok I picked it and it’s telling me to
Back up my Bitlocker recovery key and suspend Bitlockerencryptioni. The OS before updating BIOS. Then there’s a yes or No option.

As far as I know I don’t have bitlocker turned on.

Choose the 29311MB drive and tell us what files you see on there.


For future reference... buy a cheap $10 mouse at Walmart for tasks like this.

Not to worry... mine gives the same warning and I've never used or intend to use Bitlocker.
You can just ignore that. :-)



For folks that DO use Bitlocker... they need to backup their Bitlocker key before flashing the BIOS

If your SURE Bitlocker is not enabled...
Just ignore that and continue. You're almost there. :-)

The BIOS will take about 2-3 minutes to flash. You should see a progress bar when it starts.

I can't SEE your screen. But there is a way to skip the Bitlocker thing.
You can use F10 to save and exit the BIOS and go into Windows and type: Bitlocker in the Taskbar search box.

That will bring up the Bitlocker settings. and you can check if Bitlocker is ON or not.



Maybe post a screen shot of your Bitlocker screen in Windows.

I'm on Win 11 HOME so I may not be seeing the same thing you are.

I just flashed my BIOS last night and got the same question. Whatever I answered, it got me past that question.
I think I answered NO. But I've flashed so many BIOSes, that I don't really remember.
I just click my way through.



I seem to remember that some people were saying that Bitlocker was automatically enabled on Win 11 Pro ??
