Yep, I have the GA Z97X-SLi motherboard with 32gb Ram 1050ti Nvidia card and put in an M-2 980 Pro SSD recently added the 990 Pro.... put that
in a PCIE NVME Adapter with Heat Sink as I dual boot Windows 11 Beta and Dev, 990 Pro outperforms the 980 by a long shot. Built this 4 yrs ago and is fast enough for me, Have the same set-up in an ASUS Z97-A USB 3.1 motherboard, with the dual boot I had to use clover.
