1. Open Task Scheduler:
   • Press Win + S, type “Task Scheduler”, and hit Enter.
2. Create a Basic Task:
   • In the Task Scheduler window, click on Action > Create Basic Task.
   • Name your task (e.g., “Idle Shutdown”) and click Next.
3. Set the Trigger:
   • Choose Daily (or any other frequency you prefer) and click Next.
   • Set the start date and time, then click Next.
4. Set the Action:
   • Select Start a program and click Next.
   • In the Program/script field, type shutdown.exe.
   • In the Add arguments field, type /s /f /t 0 (this command forces a shutdown immediately).
5. Add Conditions:
   • Before finishing, click on Open the Properties dialog for this task when I click Finish and then click Finish.
   • In the Properties window, go to the Conditions tab.
   • Check Start the task only if the computer is idle for and set the desired idle time (e.g., 10 minutes).
   • Optionally, you can adjust other conditions like stopping the task if the computer ceases to be idle.
6. Save and Exit:
   • Click OK to save your settings.
