Sleep changing selection square color

I have set the color of all HotTrackingColor entries and sleep still change the selection square color.

I do not have that problem with sleep. I did not manually change any registry entries. Instead I used this to do it for me.

I do not know what those Registry entries are.

You could write those settings as reg commands in a batch file instead of as a .reg file as you are doing at the moment.
That would allow you to silently change them back to what you want with every resume from sleep or hibernate - using the ability of Task scheduler & Event viewer to run a script when a particular event takes place.

When sleep changes the color, it is either logoff or restart - nothing else works.

Oh, that's a shame.

I have a similar problem.
In Windows 10, I managed to set up a change of TitleBar colour that took effect immediately so I could use it as a marker [of a change from AC to DC power]. It had been difficult getting that far - most methods would only change the colour when I switched between windows.
In Windows 11, I cannot get the change to happen straightaway at all.
I combined the TitleBar change with a Speech announcement that it had switched but, of course, that's only helpful if I'm in the room at the time. What I had found was that moving my main laptop around as I used it might cause the power lead to slip half out and that something might rattle it out just that little bit too much [when I might be out of the room].
