anybody using Snip and sketch as opposed to snipping tool -- for me the snipping tool is just so simple and does what I need so I'm still using it -- what about others. I tried Snip and sketch and went straight back to Snipping Tool. - OK I know new software often needs an adjustment but it didn't really offer me anything over what I m

I've used SnagIt in the past, and it's pretty darn good. I just didn't like paying for newer versions repeatedly. And PDN suffices for what I need.
In order to move to a new version. No, they never, ever crippled old versions, they were yours to use as long as you wanted, as I recall.
Thus why I'm confused on the "repeatedly" comment. Just use the current version until it no longer does what you need.
Anyway, I'm seriously considering getting the Snagit/Camtasia package since I want to get into making video tutorials.

But the new features they add were some that I really wanted - like when they added scrolling captures.....I needed it then. (Yes, that was a while ago).
Not so much now.
