Which is what get installed with chipset driver package ;-) (AFAIK), because chipset driver installers don't strictly deal only with chipset.

Chipset drivers (Intel or AMD) only deal with their Processor companion chipset. And they are not actually drivers, but descriptions parameters for the hardware so the OS can figure figure it out. These are for a specific Asus chip, and are probably actually a driver for it.

I'm not going to post it here but the inf has a very long list of system apps/dll's that come under the umbrella of this driver.

Intel doesn't seem to include these functions inside the chipset software package. AMD may well have a different approach to driver management.

On fresh installed system never updated, if you look into device manager you can see a lot of components for which there is either MS driver installed or no driver at all.
Then when you run and install chipset installer package it will make a bunch of those components report newly installed manufacturer's drivers.
Most of these components are not strictly about chipset but touch all sorts of motherboard related things which other driver installers do not handle.

I don't know what's included in chipset installers and how Windows deals with them but that's what I saw many times over.

If you do some research you will find that is not correct. The chipset package is only for the (AMD or Intel) chipset and processor, including CPI-E definitions (which are part of the processor/chipset). And as I stated they really are not drivers. Unless you are speaking about some package from the Motherboard vendor, which may include the AMD/Intel chipset and other Motherboard manufacturer on-board chips. But I have never seen that with any motherboard I have built with.

Yes, I always use those and never download from AMD or Intel sites directly.
